Cancer New Moon Musings

New Moon in Cancer July 11, 2010 12:40 pm pdt

This month the New Moon enters the watery, cardinal sign of Cancer, the crab. During your New Moon Meditation allow yourself to sink deep, deep into the watery depths of Cancerian emotion as you connect with your family, your roots and your heritage. Trust that you are safe and protected here in this watery playground, as you allow your feelings to guide you where they will, knowing and accepting that all is well in your world and that your emotional wise woman wisdom is taking you exactly where you need to go.

Total Solar Eclipse 12:34 pm pdt

This eclipse falls in the sign of Cancer, which means it shows us our shadow in the area of emotions, feelings and our inner life. The funny thing is, this is a solar eclipse, so it’s marked by an external, real-world event (unlike a lunar eclipse, which is mostly experienced internally). So during this eclipse our inner life may be symbolized in the outside world by a physical event. The eclipse may also stimulate events in Cancerian arenas, such as family (meaning both the family you grow up with and the family you create as an adult), the home or private sphere and one’s emotional life. This eclipse is total, so it is likely to have a stronger effect on those it touches than the other eclipses this year. ~ Kindly Excerpted from the We'Moon Datebook

On July 11 when the New Moon enters Cancer get ready to:

- Be quietly at home with your family. - Protect your home as if it was a sacred temple. - Ease your fears and reconnect with your true feelings. - Feel compassion for all living things. - Write a letter to your mother telling her how you feel and thanking her for doing the best she could, no matter what. - List 3 things your mother taught you that you wish to pass on down the line.

Introducing The Moon Muses

The Moon Muses are intuitive guides and question askers that offer insight and wisdom along with exercises to heal and inspire you. They are creative leap takers forming a glowing moonlit bridge between your rational self and your higher self, a self that dwells in pure intuition, clairvoyance (clear seeing), meditative reflection and dreaming. This month you will meet Pearl, a Gemstone Guide and a Lefty Oracle Muse by the name of Cathann. I encourage all of you to create a Moon Musing Journal to record your monthly moon explorations and creative longings (more about this in my eCourse, Awaken Your Divine Feminine Soul).

A Message from Pearl

Pearl asks you to swim deep, deep into the  subconscious realms so that you can ask yourself these questions: “How can I heal my wounds, my roots, my core, my soul’s pain that cries out in deep of night; a long, dark, low howling of misery and longing. How can I heal my wounds?”

How can you put your healing into action today, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year? Name 3 things you could do to start taking that step.

1.

2.

3.

Allow Pearl to help you by wearing, holding or envisioning her and then thanking Pearl for being your faithful friend and guide.

Cancer Affirmations

I care deeply for others. I see the wounded child within us all. I teach others how to care and wash their wounds. I am sensitive and receptive. I am safe and protected. My home is my heart.

My Version of Cancer – Cathann Doin’ the Somnambulist Twist

"Cathann" is part of a series of 500 or so left-handed (my non-dominant hand!) drawings I created over a period of five years. These drawings were later turned into an oracle card deck that I use for giving Soul Readings.

Cathann has appeared to remind all of us to take charge of our dreams.

So remember:

You are needed. You are safe. You are guided.

Now take a moment to feel the warmth of your own heart beating, for you are loved and don’t you ever forget it.

I am currently teaching  Awaken Your Divine Feminine Soul at the Wise Woman University. “Celebrating the lunar cycles is an important part of building a spiritual framework. Each month we can tune into her cycles to keep ourselves on track. At the new moon we plant our intentions for the month ahead, at the full moon we watch them flower, and at the waning moon we release and share our wisdom with the world. As women we are naturally able to resonate with these cycles in deep and meaningful ways.

New Moon in Gemini

New Moon in Gemini June 12, 2010 4:14 am pdt

This month the New Moon enters the airy, mutable sign of Gemini, the twins. If you’re looking for fun and games this moon then you won’t be disappointed! Gemini tries hard to keep it light and entertaining. During your New Moon Meditation allow yourself to sink into wonder, curiosity and awe. Remember to keep it simple because the mood you’re after is fun, childlike, light and playful so if you’re feeling heavy, serious and weighty then you know you’re not on the  Gemini carousel ride. You may also be feeling a little distracted or even bored right now, so make sure and keep things interesting by tuning into the child within, the part of you that remembers what joy felt like, in the beginning.

On June 12th when the New Moon enters Gemini get ready to: - Seek the unexpected - Flood your sense with stimuli - Let your curiosity keep you on the move - Weave your social networks - Juggle tasks and cross-pollinate ideas

Taurus New Moon Musings

New Moon in TaurusMay 13, 2010 6:04 pm PDT

This month the New Moon enters the sign of Taurus, the Celestial Cow and a fixed, earthy sign represented by the crown of Isis (the symbol or glyph for Taurus). Try to picture Taurus the Bull munching contentedly away in a field of clover and then ask yourself, “What can I do this week to reward and pamper myself in a sensual way while giving thanks and acknowledging my strengths and values?” (Think of it as a Taurean pleasure bath for the soul). Is there a special source of strength that you can draw upon when necessary? What is it? Have you ever healed yourself by connecting with your power source? Wouldn’t that be amazing?! When the Moon enters Taurus on May 13 get ready to:

- ground your energy in Mother Earth - be cautious and reserved about money - continue or finish projects - stay at home with your family - appreciate the bounty and beauty of Mother Earth

Taurus – The Bull

Time of Year – Spring turns into summer, May Day Quality – Fixed Element – Earth Planetary Ruler – Venus Anatomy – Neck and throat Natural Sign of – 2nd House Color – Pink, green, earth colors Gemstone – Chrysocolla, green emerald, moss agate Tarot Card – Hierophant Goddesses – Demeter, Flora, Gaia, Hathor, Hera, Nokomis, Olwen, Rhea Taurus Meditation

I am of the earth, Gaia feeds me, I worship her body as I worship my own.

This month you will meet a Gemstone Muse called Emerald and a Lefty Oracle Muse by the name of Song. I encourage all of you to create a Moon Musing Journal to record your monthly moon explorations (more about this in my eCourse Awaken Your Divine Feminine Self).

- lose yourself in music - appreciate and indulge in life’s simple, sensual pleasures

A Message From Emerald

Emerald encourages you to define your values especially in relation to money and possessions.

Questions:

How much is enough, too little, just right?

Does the work you do express your values? Tell me more!

Emerald is a wishing stone and works especially well with this New Moon in Taurus, so that means it’s time to make a wish, but with 1 stipulation, that instead of releasing your wish into the ethers, Emerald wants you to plant it, tend it and watch it grow.

Take a moment now to envision that wish of yours spreading out and effecting 100 other folks, then 200, then 300 then 10,000!

My Green Wish is _____________________________________________________

My Version of Taurus

“Song” is part of a series of left-handed drawings I created over a period of five years. These drawings were later turned into an oracle card deck that I use for soul readings.

“Song” asks you to write a song from your heart!

To begin, list 3 words that fill your heart with joy, perhaps relating to their meaning, or even just to the sound that the word makes. Think fast, don’t dwell on this too long! What are the first 3 words that pop into your head? Write them down!

1. 2. 3.

Now, write down a symbol or something concrete beside each word.

Allow these 3 words to act as a talisman or touchstone for you this month. Try turning them into a collage or collect them as actual objects that you can carry around with you. Ponder them, bring them to life, because they will teach you about the way of joy, the way of heart and the way of soul. Think of them as your Heart Song of Joy and let their magic work it’s synchronicities and healings into the very fabric of your life.

I am currently teaching “Awaken Your Divine Feminine Self” at the Wise Woman University. As women we are naturally able to resonate with these cycles in deep and meaningful ways.”

Scorpio Full Moon Musings – Something Beautiful Is Born Today

Something very beautiful is being born today - You. Scorpio knows without knowing how s/he knows... it's all on a subconscious level. When tuning into Scorpio power (and we all have it in our natal birth charts) it's a great time to ask the really important questions and expect to receive some answers - that's how powerful this Moon in Scorpio can be. Ponder that for a moment and then start brewing up some good questions and remember, often they will come at you whether you're ready or not, so be prepared for a few surprises.

Don't over-think things either 'cause this can kill the process. Just jot them down as you try to capture the biggies in your life.

This month you will meet 2 Gemstone Muses – Opal and Malachite and a Lefty Oracle Muse by the name of Miss Talitha, Spider Sister. I encourage all of you to create a Moon Musing Journal to record your monthly moon explorations (more about this in my new eCourse, Awaken Your Divine Feminine Soul).

A Message from Opal

Tune into your physical body right now - how do you feel? Does anything hurt or irritate you?

Join your hands together because we're going to stimulate both sides of our brains, yin and yang. Scorpio is all about relationships.

1. What new relationships are you forming right now? 2. What established relationships could you deepen? 3. Are these 2 related. If so, pick a symbol that best represents them. 4. What does this symbol mean for you, what does it teach you?

A Message from Malachite

Have you become bored or complacent within your closest relationship(s)? Are you taking them for granted or being taken for granted?

Try dreaming with malachite (a powerful heart cleanser so use in small doses) and opal under your pillow to stimulate your subconscious. Then write down everything that you remember about your dreams immediately after waking up.

My Version of Scorpio ~ Miss Talitha Spider Sister

"Miss Talitha" is part of a series of left-handed drawings I created over a period of five years. These drawings were later turned into an oracle card deck that I use for Soul Readings.

Questions

Do you ever have a feeling of smallness? In what ways do you want to be heard? How would you like to be treated by others that would make you feel respected?

How can you nourish yourself in healing and affirming ways?

Now, imagine yourself standing tall as you gaze at yourself, as if in a mirror. Who are you? What 3 words or symbols could you use to describe yourself.

1. I am _____________________ 2. I am _____________________ 3. I am _____________________

Try and come up with a catchy slogan that best describes you and what you do.

I create a world where _______________________________________

Here are mine: Love conquers all. The vulnerable are free. Passion is everything. It's okay to love again. All is Love. Love matters.

Now lastly, choose a Soul Animal to help you on your journey.

Aries New Moon Musings

New Moon In Aries – April 14, 2010. This month the New Moon enters the sign of Aries signifying a new year, astrologically speaking so remember to plant those seeds of intention in honour of Spring’s arrival! Aries is a cardinal, fire sign and the first sign of the zodiac. This is the sign of the warrior and the pioneer, a courageous sign that seeks out new beginnings, risk and adventure. The shadow side of Aries relates to rage, insensitivity, violence and selfishness (sometimes they can be such babies!) Aries do love a good fight and this can often be a sign of affection, if done playfully.

When the Moon enters Aries on April 14th get ready to:

- get motivated

- awaken your creative urges

- get physical

- react quickly to emotions, attitudes, desires

- try new approaches and discover new outlets

- be open to new adventures

Aries Meditation:

Fire god, fiery goddess,

Red the path to our heart’s desire,

Lead the way to our soul’s fire.

This month you will meet a Gemstone Muse – The Diamond and Carolee, a Lefty Oracle Muse. I encourage all of you to create a Moon Musing Journal to record your monthly moon explorations (more about this in my eCourse, Awaken the Divine Feminine).

A Message From Diamond

Know ye the path? Don’t listen to strangers - come with me! You may have questions, but throw them up in the air, like this!

See that path - do you wanna good workout, then take that route! If you want more kids, take that route. How ‘bout true love, then take that route! But if you’re looking for Goddess, then stay right where you are and keep reading!

BIG SMILE – yes you! This will be your best trip ever! There are a million directions to go kid, but when you decide which route to take ask yourself this:

Does it glow?

Where is the passion?

The passion is right here – so pluck it like a ripe red rosebud and what do you see? Now acknowledge that vision. I acknowledge _______________________.

Now take a moment to breathe into that rose and then place it between your eyebrows and just above, which is the site of your third eye. Smell it’s sweet fragrance. What does it smell like? You ARE the rose, now go forth and blossom, get outta here! (Grin) And don’t stop until roses are everywhere and you envision that path in front of you.

Sing a tune while you’re at it! “Don’t stop believin’”

My Version of Aries

“Carolee” is part of a series of left-handed drawings I created over a period of five years. These drawings were later turned into an oracle card deck that I use for soul readings.

Why the horns? (I can hear you asking) – ‘Cause you’re strong and you’ve got a long way to go and I’m gifting you, dear reader with your own set, magically appearing … now! Can you feel them sprouting?

Questions

Where am I going?

What journey am I on?

What life have I planned?

What joys await?

What passions?

What mystery?

What does my soul ache to see?

Now, tell me in one word or less the answer to each of these questions!

Take a moment to envision that journey, that passion, that joy, and tell me, “What colours do you see? What do these colours symbolize to you?” That is your soul speaking.

Now, imagine yourself dressed in a fantastical gown or coat made up of all these colours … yes, this IS your life, and as the creator of your very own world, tell me, “What are ye creating? Do Tell!”

What problems will you be able solve, now that you have acknowledged your own creative brand of genius? Name these problems. How might ye create a solution? Think fast! We’ve not much time!

Now, envision yourself wearing the garb of a Problem Solver Goddess/Genius/Creator – that is YOU! What do you look like? Paint me a picture with words.

One Last Challenge For You:

Make that outfit you’ve just envisioned or find something just like it and become that person … promise!
