13 years ago I began painting with my non dominant left hand; the intuitive hand, the hand that sparked my deep journey and where I discovered I was a Creative Soul Guide, not just for myself but for others as well. All this coincided with turning 40 (Uranus Opposition, astrologically speaking) and exploring far deeper spiritual and psychological waters than I'd ever ventured into before. Turning 40 kinda does that to you, but it ain't always easy!
Anyway, the Creative Soul Guide paintings have evolved over the years through zines and chapbooks, poetry readings, an onstage Hollywood appearance with Michelle Shocked, getting published, winning awards, museum shows and much more. They have taught me how to take a chance, how to slow down, and how to trust myself intuitively.
