How to Get More Soul Reading Clients

As a Soul Reader I have my medium of choice for giving soul readings. I use oracle decks; mainly my own creations for giving readings to others. For myself I will often try out different decks. For this reading today I’m working with the Alchemy Deck by Kim Krans of the Wild Unknown.

As always my spirit guides appear first when I do a soul reading to take me deeper into their realm; the watery realm, under the sea. This is probably because my latest creation is a Mermaid Oracle. Entering this watery realm helps me go as deep as I can into the soul reading.

I am NOT looking at the oracle card yet, I am reading it psychically instead. Later I will look at the card to see if it confirms the information I received from my spirit guides, ancestors and the gods. I go deep within and then I as the initial question again, “How does one get more soul reading clients?”

Then I rest in this deep sacred space for a while until all my senses are attuned to the messages I am about to receive.

The first messages are practical:

1. Do you really want more clients?

2. If yes, how many soul reading clients do you want a week, a month, a year? Be specific.

3. Are you taking practical steps to align your values with your marketing? What are they? Describe in detail.

Now, it gets fun…my guides say, “Okay, I have a secret to tell you and your readers.”

1. Be your own client - envision this.

2. What do you need from your practice to bring YOU fulfillment?

3. Pull another oracle card to look at specifics.

Once you’ve gained all the insights you feel are necessary or that you can absorb at this time then relax. Journal. Then look at the oracle cards you pulled. Take more notes and see how they tie in to the guidance you received psychically. Really ponder the connections happening between the psychic information you received and the images on the cards. Turn to the guidebook if needed.

Now it’s time to sum up the entire soul reading. Write down the word “Summary” and then do just that.

A Spirit Animal Vision

I painted a Spirit Animal Portrait for Angela and she wanted me to share her story about the whale in the hopes that viewers might really connect with it and think to themselves "Wow, maybe I can get in touch with my guides too." Which they totally can!

Angela’s Story

The whale is extremely personal to me. I'd like to tell you an astral experience, I hope you won't mind! I've only ever told this to three people in my entire life.

I have a natural ability to astral travel around the universe, and one time (roughly 4 years ago) I arrived to a platform suspended in space with no walls. There were stairs leading to a platform, and there on the platform was a long harvest styled table (rectangular) with a handful (probably 6-7) "guides" or spiritual leaders. Each seemed to be from a different background. Some looked shaman, others look Native American, some even looked Nordic. I walked up the stairs and could see everything in such vivid detail, it was as clear/focused as perfect 3-D textures/scents. I looked down at the table and could see all sorts of food dishes, things I had never seen in my life. I pointed to each dish and excitedly asked what each one was, not realizing why I had been brought here.

The "team" at the table all looked at me amusingly, smiling very softly, and answering my questions gently. They informed me that they wanted to show me something. I agreed. Within moments, I was hoisted/lifted up inside of a liquidy-water like plasma bubble. The bubble was probably 6-7 feet in diameter. My body was encapsulated on the inside, and it moved over to the ocean. Floating approximately 30 feet above the water, my body underwent a rapid transformation, and I was transformed into a blue (possibly gray) whale. I felt the transformation with every ounce of being, and I truly *became* this whale. Within moments after the transformation the bubble burst, and I fell into the ocean. I was able to detect the sensations, vibration, and "beingness" of being this animal.

The first thing I noticed was that the body I was occupying was capable of feeling such a high vibratory love, it was that of 10,000 times the capacity of a human body/vehicle. I radiated in extensive love, and I knew what it was to be whale. In fact, it became quite clear within minutes that this was a past incarnation of my own. I was returning to a time in my ancient past, and this was a gift of memory given to me by my guides (or "crew"). I moved swiftly and slowly through the ocean water, able to feel every ounce of the water.

I continued to radiate in high vibration and knew what it was to be a whale.. The love is deeper than I could possibly replicate in my human form now, and what's left is the memory of how high a whale vibrates in this vibration. Soon, another whale slid in next to me and brushed the side of my body. We "vibrated" in love together. Soon again, a SECOND whale appeared, and came to my other side. I now had two whales to my right and left. And we moved along the ocean sliding next to each other, radiating in this high powerful vibration of love.

It was probably 20 minutes of this beautiful transformation, before directly in the water, I returned/transformed back into my human form. I swam (as a human) until I finally reached the platform. I climbed out of the ocean somehow onto the platform that my guides were sitting on, at their "harvest" like thanksgiving table with mysterious foods from their respective backgrounds/cultures. When I walked up to the platform, my eyes were full of tears with the memory of the experience and recollection of what it was to be a whale.. I cried. I held my hands up in a "prayer" formation and said: "Please, just one more time.. just one more time.. Please." They all chuckled, and seemed pleased and happy to grant me one more "go".

And again, I was hoisted up into the transformative liquid-y bubble, and I repeated the process. I swam again with my friends in the ocean. And again, returned to a human form while still in the water. I came back to the platform a second time, and thanked them profusely again and again for the gift and kindness of what they had done for me. I woke up barely breathing, as I had been gone from my body for a long time. It was... extraordinary.

You are the third person I have ever told this to. Your painting/drawing brought me to tears, as you literally have portrayed the whale smiling, and it reminds me of my deep memory and love of their species. I believe they may not be native to earth. Its possible they were brought here a long time ago.. There is something other-worldly about them, and I now know what they truly "feel". It could never be replicated in the human form.

Consulting Your Spirit Guides (Secret No. 7)

Long Version - How to Find Your Spirit Guides:

I never actually found the "perfect guide" in the flesh, but I did find several in the spirit world. My recommendation, for those of you searching for your spirit guides, is to start out by working with a deck of tarot or oracle cards. My deck of choice was the Greenwood Deck, a Celtic Pagan deck created by Mark Ryan and illustrated by Chesca Potter. The two cards featured in this blog post were the ones that kept cropping up for me over and over again. But it was the Ancestor card that proved to be my greatest guide, acting as a gateway into the spirit world. By following (metaphorically/symbolically) the trunk and roots of the trees pictured in the card, down into the ground and beyond, I was able to access my main spirit guide, Annie.

Update: Nowadays I would definitely work with my own hand painted oracle decks!

How To Connect with Guides to Help Others:

When I give readings, I connect with the greatest guides there are, The Divines. I didn't start out by giving readings, I worked up to it over many, many years of practice. I suggest you find what methods work best for you, whatever allows you to quiet your mind (monkey-mind), open your heart, and become humble in the presence of Divine Beauty, with the realization that you are merely a channel and a messenger. Your job as a guide, is to remain open and connected, so that you can deliver healing and insightful messages in a non-judgemental, comprehensible and clear manner.

Slow down and smell the spiritual theme

It's time to slow down and smell the spiritual theme. Once again I turned to one of the four Sylvia Browne books I had grabbed from my birth mom's deathbed. These were books she had turned to in the last months of her life, and I asked the questions: "What is the truth? What truth is this Lefty painting sharing with me today?" Then I closed my eyes and opened up Sylvia's book Soul's Perfection and out popped the words "A spiritual theme." This helped me a lot at that very moment especially after reading this part:

A spiritual theme means that you will search for spirituality in everything you do...'even though it seems crazy, I'm going to use the silver and white lights. I'm going to use mirrors and encase myself in gold'...That's one of the hardest things to know: when it's time to move on.

My birth mom moved on in May of this year but we  still 'communicate' all the time. Blessed Be.
