Wood Sorrel Fairy

"I am energized and sparkling."

This allelujah herb is a gentle and nourishing friend that can cheer you up. Also known as Cuckoo Bread because the cuckoo ate wood sorrel to find its voice as a messenger for the goddess of love. This may also have been the original lucky shamrock from Irish legend.

Seaside Daisy Faerie Blessings of Love for the Taurus Full Moon

For this Taurus Full Moon I’d like to share my latest Faerie Oracle from the upcoming deck coming out in 2022 if all goes well.

Taurus the zodiac sign is ruled by Venus, the Goddess of Love so it’s appropriate that the Seaside Daisy Fairy is featured this month.

In my own life I spend a portion of each day giving thanks for all that I love. Often it’s during my evening walk, where I thank the sunset, the moon, the stars, the crickets and the colors surrounding me.

It’s Fall here in Southern California so the color shifts are verrrrry subtle. Some of the little bushes are more red and a few trees change color (sycamores, maples, and grave vines too) and the temps are just a bit cooler with a more noticeable drop at night.

Being a Canadian girl at heart, I love the colder nights and revel in this dark time of the year; the Witch’s New Year which began at Samhain.

I’ve had the pleasure of being in several art shows this year after a hiatus of quite some time. I’ve enjoyed seeing the peeps out and about (wearing masks mostly) and catching up with fellow artisans who are finding themselves quite busy with sales which is awesome after two years of show cancellations.
