Virgo Full Moon Fairy Witch Merkat Blessings!

Dear Moon Muser,

She (my latest mer-painting above) is inspiring me this week to be a mermaid; to dress in flowing greens and blues and shades of abalone, to be centered in my emotions, to be beautiful.  How about you?  Are you a mermaid-at-heart too?

This Full Moon in Virgo on Saturday, Feb. 24 is complementarily opposite to Pisces, the mermaid, the two fish. At this Virgo Moon we can more easily tap into, not only our practical, service oriented, quirky Virgo essence, but our mystical, bliss-fed Piscean essence.

I don't know about you, but I need some of that watery bliss right now.

I was honoured this week to give a soul reading to a fellow soul reader who happens to live in the UK - I love when like-minds reach out and find each other.

My new Divination Deck is slowly emerging even though I'm on a bit of a rest break this week and, trust me, I ADORE my rest! How about you?  If you're in colder climes are you being a Mama Bear and hibernating or are you on the slopes, adventuring?

Today I hang clothes in a sunny breeze that's wafting that fresh, clean smell to me, thanks to my mom, I take special note and thank her for teaching me to appreciate and indulge in simple pleasures.

If this card appears in a reading it’s time to acknowledge your gifts and talents. You have been given an opportunity to shine, so take it even if it’s only a very small opportunity. Little things are JUST as important as big things because they often lead the way to bigger breakthroughs. But you do need to take that first step and acknowledge yourself first. Don’t expect someone else to do that for you. You need to take responsibility for you.

In my own life I am sometimes asked how I maintain my passion for creating, writing, spiritual guidance etc. For me, it’s a slow, steady and daily practice that comes in waves. Sometimes my art is in the forefront, sometimes my soul readings, but my writing and journaling are a daily practice. I ride the waves knowing that my passions ebb and flow. Along the way opportunities pop up and I am ready for them because I do the work.

Creative Journal Prompt
What issues, problems or questions are calling out to you right now because you need more clarity around them? Pick one to shine light upon and ask for guidance. Then go within and envision a candle flame burning bright upon your issue. Take your time. Allow the light to fill your whole body, mind and heart. Breathe into it. Be still with it. Hold onto this vision until you can’t hold on anymore. As you do this, call upon your higher self, the Divine, your higher power, and Genevieve the oracle for assistance and clarity. Then write down whatever information you receive.

Expressive Body Movement Challenge
Create a pose or body movement for the issue you need the most clarity around and let the pose express a positive outcome and action that you could take in regard to it. Imagine the sun and moon and stars are shining upon your pose adding clarity and power to it. Feel the power build within you, then release and relax.
