Full Moon Fruition Collage

To get things rolling for my brand new course - Awaken The Divine Feminine- which just debuted on this New Moon, March 15, 2010 I'm going to be sharing some ideas that are a part of this course such as the Full Moon Collage (pictured here) and the New Moon Collage I created this self study course especially for women to help awaken, inspire and engage your passionate, intuitive, creative selves through the creation of a Moon Musing Journal, Moon Collages and Moon Musing Exercises in honour of the new, full and waning moons.

I believe that the moon can help guide and challenge us to know and resonate with our instinctual, emotional selves in a balanced, harmonious and soulful way.

The course will start on the new moon of each month and includes four lessons plus a supplemental Moon Musing email specifically geared to the zodiac sign that the moon falls in for that particular month. My course is offered through the Wise Woman University which has lots of other interesting and goddess-oriented self-study programs as well, so stop on over and check things out!

Night Blooming Dark Moon Collage

Libra Full Moon Collage - the Fire Bird Rises!

This is for the the Divine Female within all of us - she is Goddess unbound, unfettered, free. She knows the blood mysteries, worships the moon and calls upon no man to complete her. She stands alone yet united with women everywhere, strong and capable of earning her way in the world, healing her sorrows, tasting her joys, and feeling one-ness with the All.

I celebrate this Full Moon in Libra with simplicity and simple pleasures. My Full Moon Collage is a manifestation of all I believe in and am present to at this moment in time.

She is full tonight, the moon and I worship her beauty as I worship my own. Together we celebrate, as together we share our stories, our creations and our inner knowing.

Join with me, Divine Goddesses of the Moon as we come together to make magick, make merry and make our dreams and hopes manifest.

My collage consists of my recent painting Fire Bird, a Libran symbol (for me) of Cardinal fire and air. I have also incorporated the astrological symbol for Venus and within her circle have placed an Isis Goddess Crystal, then in the blood red ink of passion have scrawled out the script, and to finish things off have included a clipping from a recently planted native plant species called Ribes indecorum (great name!) which is a White Flowering Chaparral Currant.

Divine Feminine Piscean New Moon Collage Time!

This is my New Moon in Pisces Seed Starting Intention Building Collage and the first collage I've created as part of my new eCourse, Awaken the Divine Feminine which is off to a roaring start thanks to a whole group of wonderfully wild women, moon musers and Divine Goddess-ey Beings! (Can you tell I'm excited about how it's going so far?!) This month we honoured the New Moon in Pisces by planting our seeds of intention in our Moon Musings Journal, plus finally after lots of hard work, good fun, and plenty of powerful and illuminating moments of true insight into our Divine Feminine nature we are putting our intentions into practice and sharing them with the world at large through collaging, although the online sharing part is entirely optional I am encouraging my students to step up to the plate and show off just a little bit, plus it keeps us accountable and present to ourselves and others. Collaging Affirmation(Thanks ‘Led’ Kelly for coming up with this one!)

I am here with open eyes and an open heart.

I deserve to have my dreams come to life.

With the help of the moon’s power and my divine knowing self I will find and/or create images to help illustrate these dreams.

This month I decided to create my collage the old fashioned way, by cutting and pasting and coloring. I printed out a recent painting to use as the background and then wrote in the names of all the native seedlings we are planting in our garden. I added some teeth photos from a recent dental visit along with some astrology symbology plus some personal Piscean-related keywords and all the names of my Divine Feminine students! My intentions center around growing literal (plant) seedlings, helping my students grow in moon-wise ways, strengthening my own structural foundations and nourishing my divine feminine passionate wild woman nature.

Collaging is a way for us to concretize our intentions through creative freeplay and 'play' is the keyword, this isn't meant to be hard work, or overly difficult, but instead it's a chance to invite our inner child out for playtime, to get messy, if we dare, and while we're at it let's do some digging into the gardens of our soul too!

This Piscean New Moon re-connected me with a Jungian, archetypal study and analysis of my astrological chart. I have Saturn (the taskmaster) in the sign of Pisces in the 12th House (the Pisces House) along with Chiron, the wounded healer (and possibly the true ruler of Virgo which is my Sun Sign) so Pisces/Virgo is a major focal point of my chart and we all know how neat, tidy and organized Virgos can be, but add Saturn (more earth) and the mystical, artistical outlet of the Piscean 12th house into this mix and you can see why my collage is both neat, tidy, latinized (ha! So Virgo!) yet mystical and dreamy (you can read more about the creation of my background artwork here).

This Collage is an example of the kind of creative activity we will be doing in the course which begins at the New Moon on March 15th, 2010 at the Wise Woman University.
