Kathy Crabbe, There's gotta be more to this than you're letting on, 2013, ink & gouache on paper, 5 x 7”.
Kathy Crabbe, Can you forgive me? 2013, ink, pastel & gouache on paper, 5 x 7”.
Originally I started writing this blog post in response to Seth Godin's newest book The Icarus Deception (which I spedread at the bookstore, is that a word?) but found that I had nothing of real importance to say about it, although I do recommend it 'cause if you haven't read Seth yet, you should; he's helped millions of people with their marketing mindset plus he's entertaining. But I'm letting my Daily Drawings speak the hard truths for me so that I don't have to do it in my blog posts. Why? For several reasons:
- I don't like whingers (Scottish term for whiners) although cartoon whingers are different somehow...hmmm.
- I like to support fellow writers.
- If you've got nothing good to say then keep your mouth shut (works for me!)
Maybe this new series of Daily Drawings should be called Hard Truths, but I'm not deciding anything yet although I am adhering to Seth's advice to blog daily, but with style and grace and a minimum of whinging. HA.
