“The Roaring Inside Her” is an original gouache painting 9 x 11 5/8 inches (22.86 x 29.52 cm) created on heavy watercolor paper (Pentalic 140 lb, 300gsm, acid free, cold pressed), ready-to-frame (frame not included). It was inspired by my spirit guides and a quotation from the book, “Coming into Our Fullness: On Women Turning Forty: Interviews and Photographs” by Cathleen Rountree. Here is the quotation: "Women begin to hit their stride in their forties, because often they’ve spent their early years juggling so many different activities that they were simply making it through the day. But then they reach a point where they are able to integrate their life experiences.” - Cokie Roberts"

Each Faerieality painting was inspired by an intuitively chosen quotation from a book that I felt had ‘faerie energy’. I also intuitively chose a few words from the same book to collage into each piece which then became the painting’s title. The Faerieality Oracle Deck may also include this image.
