ABOUT KATHY CRABBE

I am a self taught artist currently living and working in the desert valley of Southern California surrounded by ancient oaks and an elfin forest. Gnomes, aliens and fairies have been spotted on my property. I live with my husband, cat and dog in a home hand built and designed by my husband. I've been an artist since age two and a professional Soul Reader since age 40.

Off Planetary Cat-People...painting in progress

I'm working on a story to accompany my newest paintings...it involves a deep purple planet called Flutonius and cat people (as seen below) who are guides and totems for the mystics, healers and magicians who reside there.

Painting in progress...Elf Priestess Dreamer

I'm really loving working with both watercolor/gouache and collage. The collage element adds another level of interest and depth to the piece. I've also been working on a short story to accompany it so hopefully that will be ready when the painting is. Stay tuned!
