I live in Southern California (Temecula) which is a desert valley so when it snowed the day before New Year's Eve and it snowed ALOT I was so excited and so was Abby, my dog ~ it was her first snow and she LOOOOOVED chasing snowballs. I'd also been dying to paint after the whirlwind of the holidays finally settled down and so I began a fairy painting in gouache and acrylic in my Moleskin journal inspired by the cold white wintery landscape out my window.  My painted border became a grey-blue icy flame and I'm planning on tracking her progress on this blog as well so stick around!
