Whenever I meditate I begin with yoga, and then chakra clearing and balancing. Today I wrote something extra special to help you with your own chakra meditations - enjoy!

7 Chakra Prayers Just For You

Chakra 1 - Colors: Red and Black - Location: base of your spine - Character: Physical vitality and survival. Prayer: The Mother loves you and protects you. I am safe.

Chakra 2 - Color: Orange - Location: Sacral (Pubic), about two finger widths below the belly button - Character: Desire, including sexual energy. Prayer: I am a creative, sexual being. I express my creativity and sexuality in life affirming ways.

Chakra 3 - Color: Yellow - Location: Solar plexus - Character: Creation of self, projection and perception of self.
Prayer: I am the fire and the spark in the belly that guides you. I am courage. I know strength.

Chakra 4 - Colors: Green and pink - Location: Heart - Character: Universal love, compassion, empathy.
Prayer: I am love. I am glorious love. I can feel love in every pore radiating throughout my being and into the world.

Chakra 5 - Color: Blue - Location: Pit of throat - Character: Communication, creative expression. Prayer: I speak my truth loud and clear.

Chakra 6 - Color: Indigo - Location: Forehead, third eye - Character: Visualization, psychic sight. Prayer: I know, I hear, I see, I feel, beyond time and space, into the unknown.

Chakra 7 - Color: Violet - Location: Crown of head - Character: Totality of being-ness, spiritual perfection.
Prayer: There are no words to express the Divine... just being.

How to stop addiction? This is a question that many of us are asking ourselves. How do we stop doing what we know is harmful to our very being? I was guided towards my Lefty Oracle cards and pulled a card called "Intrepid Dalmia ~ fern-dancer". Dalmia expresses how the passionate, sensual side of us can find release through dance, sacred play and pleasure and through expressing ourselves in an enchanted, physical way.

I also worked with a stone called "Bloodstone".

Bloodstone (green and red) helps force one's focus onto the physical level and the earth plane, promoting courage and achievement and preventing distractions in living and moving forward on one's life path. Placed under your pillow at night, it may help you have visionary dreams of the future. Bloodstone is said to bring wisdom, and in the past was polished and used as a mirror to watch solar eclipses.

Energy & Crystal Healing

Energy medicine is one of five domains of “complementary and alternative medicine” identified by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) in the United States.

The approaches vary widely in philosophy, approach, and origin. Many therapies are predicated, as regards the given explanation for their supposed efficacy, on some form of energy unknown to current science: in this case the given energy is sometimes referred to as putative energy. Conversely "Spiritual energy" may also be equated with empirically understood forces, for example, some equate the aura with electromagnetism. Such energies are termed "veritable" as opposed to "putative".

Types of "Veritable Energy Medicine" include: magnetic therapy and light therapy (collectively electromagnetic therapy) - mainstream medicine involving electromagnetic radiation (radiation therapy) is not accounted "electromagnetic therapy" in the terms of complementary medicine. Cymatic therapy uses sound waves.

Energy Healing with Stones

Client Question: When you say I should work with a stone could you elaborate on what you mean?

My Response: The best way to work with a stone is to buy a raw or tumbled stone at a local new age store, gem and mineral museum shop or online. You can also work from a photograph or with the color associated with the stone, by visualizing it in your mind's eye. You can wear stones as jewelry, or you can carry one in your pocket. You can sleep with a stone under your pillow or hold it in your hand and just sit quietly in a contemplative or meditative way. You can also hold a stone up to your third eye (between your eyebrows) and listen for what it has to say to you. I call this "speaking with stones" and I do believe that crystals allow the Angels to communicate with us.

A Healing Necklace of Well-Being
The first piece of healing jewellery I made was for my mother. She desired a pendant necklace so we combined healing crystals with her favorite stones to create a beautiful necklace of well-being consisting of Hematite, Snowflake Obsidian, Malachite, Moonstone, Ocean Jasper and Swarovski Crystal. The reflected light from the Swarovski Crystal really made the stones come alive. This necklace delighted my mother and helped to ease her digestive problems and arthritis.

A Traveler’s Bracelet
My mother soon desired another piece of jewellery for an upcoming journey so I made her a traveler’s bracelet from Carnelian and other stones. She is now addicted to Carnelian and has to wear it every day! Carnelian is a very underestimated stone that has helped many people boost their spirits and change their lives.

In the Middle Ages, Carnelian was used to staunch the blood and calm anger. The Egyptians used it as a protective stone for the dead.

Making Jewellery
When I create my jewellery I usually work with five to ten different stones. This enables me to help the whole person rather than to focus on specific symptoms. I’m always surprised how each piece turns out because the picture in my head is always different than the finished piece. I have been told that my pieces are so much more powerful than store bought healing jewellery and that comment really made my day! Perhaps it’s due to the healing energy I put into their creation and the fact that they are created specifically for each client.

Email Questions from New Clients:

My Response:

It is an interesting thing, how energy works, but I like to compare it to radio waves; we can't see them, but they work! I don't like to get more details before a reading because I want it to be pure and unclouded with extraneous information. It's easier, the first time I read for someone, to work solely from their first name, so that I can focus on their spirit/energy/soul without any distractions from the so called 'real world' of facts and figures.

My soul readings are done by tapping into your soul's energy and then looking into past and future energetic possibilities as well. I usually suggest crystals that you can work with and sometimes affirmations and other healing exercises. I will also be sending you (via email) samples of the oracle cards that I pull for your reading (all drawn by me, and from the four different oracle card decks that I have created.) I will also include some factual information about the stones and the cards as well, so that you can continue to work with them on your own after the reading.

Psychic Burnout:

I am discovering, after chatting with other professional psychics, mediums and healers that the burn out rate is pretty high amongst psychics, due to clients becoming overly reliant and dependent upon their readers, and because of sheer exhaustion and over work!

I can sense a person's energy during their reading and if I feel they have a tendency for giving away their power I will discourage this kind of co-dependency from the beginning. This is also why I suggest healing exercises and tools, individually designed for each client, to enable them to work on their own, without my help, and in doing so learn how to empower and develop their own intuition and self healing capabilities.

Restoring Your Energy:

I also learned a technique from James Van Praagh's book "Ghosts Among Us" that he learned from psychic healer, Michael Tamura, who suggests that "when we give our energy to others, we have to get it back; otherwise we eventually feel depleted...(and he suggests that after giving a reading) I meditate on the person and visualize my own energy leaving him or her and returning to me." I use this technique after each reading, and this definitely helps restore my energy so I don't get depleted while doing this kind of work.
